ABOUT THE MAGAZINE
Citizen K Russia is a hybrid fashion monthly magazine about culture, media, fashion and art. The Russian concept is radically different from the original version of a French quarterly published glossy and homogeneous Citizen K. Russian edition's concept has been redesigned and supplemented by the "newspaper" part of 96 pages — a block of a newspaper pulpy grey paper, which has a different layout than the glossy parts before and after the block. The last part is 60% a syndication of Kappauf's materials, the first part — an agenda — includes few fashion and shopping pages and short texts. The cover is glossy and coated inside, towards the block, and matte and uncoated outside, with a gate folder. The cover is glossy inside due to the fact that the first page of the block is also glossy and the double-page spread inside (not inside the gate folder) contains advertisement, and ours ideas was to have a matte pulpy cover linking ideologically with the "newspaper" block inside.
